About Karing Pediatrics
Karing Pediatrics provides high-quality, integrative care for children of all ages in and around Long Beach, California. Skilled pediatricians Song N. Tan, MD, Chung H. Tsi, MD, and the medical team take a compassionate, honest approach to caring for the physical, mental, and emotional health of toddlers, adolescents, and teens. They also provide newborn care services that support babies and their parents.
The Karing Pediatrics team values the importance of preventive health care. They offer a wide range of services to protect children from acute illnesses and chronic diseases, including well-child checkups, immunizations, school physicals, and sports physicals. The team also provides preschool screenings to identify issues that might impact a child’s academic success.
COVID-19 UPDATES
♥ We are a dedicated COVID-19 vaccination site.
♥ We highly recommend and provide the updated Bivalent Booster. This must be given at least 2 months after your last vaccine of the primary series.
♥ The Bivalent booster is highly recommended to protect the entire family.
♥ We offer extended hours for the vaccine and boosters. Please call our office for more information. There is almost no waiting time if you have an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine or booster.

For your peace of mind, we are always just a phone call away. After office hours, there is always a doctor on call in the event of a medical concern.
Same Day Appointments
Call us at (562) 269-5658 for a same day appointment if you have a medical concern. Same day appointments that are not urgent may need to be scheduled for another time or for another day.
Walk-In's Accepted
We understand that sometimes there are emergencies. (For life-threatening emergencies, please dial 9-1-1). Walk-ins that are not urgent may need to be scheduled for another time for another day.
Accepts Most Insurance
We accept most insurance including MediCal and HMO. If a patient is not assigned to our doctors, we can assist in modifying the assignments.
